It opens the way a good fruit fragrance should — juicy and immediate, bergamot and lemon slicing through so the sweetness never gets sticky. Jasmine sits just behind it, soft and white, keeping the fruit from reading as artificial.
The middle turns powdery. Orris — iris root — brings an earthy, almost cosmetic softness that most sweet fragrances skip entirely, and a balsamic warmth starts building underneath.
Then the caramel arrives, and everything changes.
This is the part people remember. Buttery, warm, not burnt and not candied — real caramel, sitting on amber and cedar so it has somewhere to rest. Musk smooths the whole thing out. What started as a bright fruit fragrance ends as something you want to keep smelling on your own wrist.
