Timeless doesn't open so much as arrive.
Orange blossom, first and immediately — white, luminous, slightly green at the edges, with that faint honeyed weight real neroli has when it's used properly. There's a lift to it, almost effervescent, but nothing sharp. Nothing that announces.
Underneath, amber. Not the dark resinous kind — this is white amber, pale and soft, more light than heat. It doesn't push the orange blossom aside; it holds it up. Woods come in beneath that, blonde and dry, and Peru balsam finishes the whole thing with something between vanilla and incense — sweet, resinous, a little milky.
The trick is that none of this changes much. The orange blossom you smell in the first minute is still there in hour six, just closer to the skin and warmer. It's a fragrance that decided what it was and never negotiated.
That's where the name comes from. Timeless isn't trying to be current, and it won't read as dated in five years, because it never belonged to a moment in the first place. It's the white shirt of the collection — but the good one.
It reads warm and skin-like on everyone.
