Inspired by Bahar
It opens like air off the water — salt, ozone, something cool and slightly mineral — with lime, mandarin, and grapefruit cutting through it and a wash of fruit underneath, apple and pineapple and plum, sweet enough to keep it from turning sterile. Cardamom and ginger add a faint warmth at the edges. It's bright, wet, and immediate.
Then it goes down.
Saffron and iris turn the middle powdery and slightly dry. Rose and jasmine soften it. Sandalwood and cedar start building underneath, and what was weightless at the top begins to acquire mass.
The base is the surprise: oud, amber, vanilla, patchouli, vetiver, musk. Warm, resinous, and unmistakably Eastern — the exact opposite of the opening. What began as sea air ends as something dense and skin-close that stays on fabric for days.
That's the whole idea. Bahar means the sea, and the sea isn't the surface. MARINE gives you the breeze first and the depth after — and the depth is where it actually lives.
